I for one hope the RPG elements will be more fleshed out, with actual stats like stamina, defense, luck, etc.
Goes to show it's impossible to please everyone...
Farming Simulator, OK, I could understand how some people would be disappointed by this (even though I'll still give it a go), but Cities Skylines? You guys have no right to feel cheated on this one, it's a superb city builder. If it weren't for its overpriced dlc in heaps and bounds, it would be pretty much perfect. I've made a very cool city that makes a mockery of the one I had built in Big City Stories, even though at this point managing my city had become such a conundrum...
This is both good news and bad news for me. Good because we certainly can't complain we have too many games set in that time period. I believe the last notable game featuring vikings was the lost vikings on the SNES back in 1992 or something, so that timeperiod and setting hasn't been too much explored, so I'm kinda glad that they seem to be following Sony Santa Monica Studio with where they go with the God of War games (Greece -> AC Odyssey, North -> AC Valhalla...), as Ub...
Why are people still buying the Call of Duty games? I can't believe they're still... wait, actually I understand fully well why they're still making them, it's all about the $$$
The last 2 Assassin's Creed games were great, too, contrary to some other games.
Probably, how they would be working like slaves with weeks of sometimes 100hrs during a time which was not even considered a crunchtime, or how unstable the market of employment can be in that line of work, where you can stay unemployed for months on end, if not years, if you aren't willing/can't relocate to a city that's 1000s of kilometers from where you live and just bought a house, I guess?
I'm a gaming fan but if I had kids and they told me they wanna be game de...
I've always been a huge Killzone fan ever since the first one came out on PS2 back in 2004, but Shadow Fall was a disappointment. The art direction was rather consistent with what it had always been before overall, but it was far less inventive in terms of story, weaponry, mission structure, and environments, and seemed to borrow ideas (like the owl and its laser shield or w/e) that didn't really belong in Killzone and might've been more at home in the Halo series.
Killz...
Send it to me then. I'll give you 5$ for it.
I said so in a previous article and got no less than 8 disagrees, just for stating the truth based on all the leaks, so I'd like to see those guys' faces now. To be honest though, mine is also something noteworthy currently as I'm looking at that number, a 4 TF system, which is much lower than I expected Microsoft's lower tier SKU would be. Yeah MS will be able to severely undercut Sony with that, but 4 TF is like a PS4 Pro, not a new-gen system. Even at 250$ I'm really no...
Yep. Was wondering why the hell those were coming out only on Xbox until I remembered that bundle appeared weeks ago on the PS store. It's nice to be able to pick them up individually, I'd like that as I'm more interested in the Double Dragon trilogy than anything else, but at that price they're selling them individually I'm probably just better off buying the bundle. Especially if there's a sale at some point.
Mr Uematsu is a genius musician, I'm sad we can't enjoy his work in FF games or other RPGs nowadays.
"smart from a marketing standpoint"?
LOL, if they were to do that for each and every Playstation exclusive they would be killing the PS brand, and Sony with it (who rely heavily on the PS business to keep them afloat). Nobody would have any interest in buying a Playstation with 0 exclusives. They'd just buy a PC for that, which also does a myriad other things that a games console will never do.
Let's hope someone at Sony realizes that. I...
It's past 6pm of april 15th here and the free games are nowhere to be found. Uncharted 3 standalone edition is still labeled at 100€ and Uncharted 2 at 0€, except when you click on it you don't even have a button to purchase it, wtf, lol.
Ah, SIE Europe...
I completed all the PS3 Uncharted games again when they were made available as part of the PS+ monthly offer in the Uncharted Collection on PS4, but it's so nice from Sony that I'll definitely get them. I own them all (in collector's edition too) on the PS3 and was weary of having to buy them again on the PS4, problem solved, it seems.
That said, we are the 15th of April and I can't see that offer anywhere on the store...
Wow, Mechs to walk outside longer now? They just keep making that game better and better, don't they? I'll end up getting it at some point, it looked already interesting as it was when it launched, now it looks to be even better.
I just would like it better if we were treated to much larger spaceships, and if there were even larger ones, like cities floating in space, in the game. And more enemies and more weapons, also.
No, but I would certainly expect it to look better than some gloomy mess at any rate...
I don't get it, one you get it with PS+ subscription, I'm subscribed to the japanese PS+ so hopefully they'll get the theme over there, but the other one you just have to download the demo? I did just that a few days ago and didn't get any theme for doing so...
I don't like the fact that nearly 1/3 of the original game was cut
Apparently they made it bloated with often uninspired and uninteresting side-quests so they could slap a 30~60 hrs lifespan RPG label on it and call it a complete game, but we all know they could've fit so much more in one game. Maybe not the whole original FFVII game and its whole content, all the environments and situations and stuff, but a lot more than that. It's FFVII, everyone knows there's a lot more to it than just Midgar, and people are anxious thinking about the time the...
What went wrong? Capcom saw all the money they made with the surprise success of the remake of Resident Evil 2, and that inspired them to botch production of the remake of Resident Evil 3 for a quick buck. Simple as that.
Also, I doubt they bothered making sure they were surrounded by the right people, namely the ones who had worked on the original game in 1999, contrary to what Square-Enix did with the remake of Final Fantasy VII.
I also can't stand SJW cr@p, but what could possibly be so bad in the story that we didn't know already? I mean, we know Elie is a lesbian and she kisses that south-american-ish girl she dances with, we all saw it at Sony's E3 press conference back in 2018 if memory serves, and she was also seen kissing that black girl in the Last of Us dlc, so if it's just that, way to make a mountain out of a molehill...?
